Maple Leaf Strategies Welcomes Ana Curic, Media and Communications Expert, To the Team

Ottawa, Ontario – Maple Leaf Strategies is pleased to welcome Ana Curic, a media and communications expert, to the team. Ana has over a decade of senior-level national experience in strategic communications, media relations, issues management, stakeholder relations, public policy analysis, and legislative affairs.

Ana has advised political figures at both the federal and provincial levels. She has served as the Chief of Staff to the federal Minister of Employment and Social Development and the Minister of Immigration and Multiculturalism. Ana has held other senior roles in Minister’s offices, including Director of Communications and Issues Management, and Director of Parliamentary Affairs. Ana also served the Minister of Finance, as part of the team that designed the “Economic Action Plan” initiative that effectively steered Canada through the 2008-2009 global recession. At the provincial level, Ana has developed immigration policy for the Official Opposition in Ontario.

Ana is known for her ability to develop comprehensive communications plans that make complex issues easy to understand and relevant to key audiences, resulting in broad support and the successful achievement of desired outcomes. She has extensive media relations experience, having engaged with various traditional and digital media in every province and territory in Canada.
