Aliya Mohamed has served the Canadian Prime Minister for the last decade, most recently as Managing Director for the Prime Minister’s Tour and Logistics Department. During her tenure, she led all aspects from conception to implementation of the Prime Minister’s events – ranging from major international summits, foreign visits and domestic audiences. Directly supervising a team of 14 staff, Aliya successfully managed the logistics involving hundreds of events around the world, interacted with counterparts in foreign governments, international organizations, and the private sector, and briefed the Prime Minister daily as part of his senior staff.
Prior to joining Maple Leaf Strategies Aliya provided consulting services to a wide range of clients including notables such as The American Israel Public Affairs Committee based out of Washington, D.C.
Aliya studied in Ottawa, earning a B.A. in Political Science and Global Affairs from the University of Ottawa.
