August 29, 2016 – Vancouver: The partners of Maple Leaf Strategies, experts in government relations, public affairs, and public opinion research are pleased to announce Aliya Mohamed as a new Associate of the firm.
Ms. Mohamed is an accomplished tour and event management expert, having served Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper for the last decade, most recently as Managing Director for the Prime Minister’s Tour Department. During her tenure, she led all aspects from conception to implementation of the Prime Minister’s events – ranging from major international summits, foreign visits to a wide range of local events across Canada. Aliya successfully managed the logistics involving hundreds of events around the world, interacted with counterparts in foreign governments, international organizations, the private sector, domestic and federal campaign events, and briefed the Prime Minister daily as part of his senior staff. Prior to joining Maple Leaf Strategies Aliya provided consulting services to a wide range of clients including notables such as The American Israel Public Affairs Committee based out of Washington, D.C.
